The missing of you
Tuesday, October 6th, 2009So I finally got around to putting these photos from Iceland up. Its been almost two months since my last post, which would probably be the longest I’ve gone without posting. I’ve had some drastic changes in my life the past few months. Some heavy ups and downs as well as a change in environment. There was a lot of mixing around of priorities and my work got put on the back burner for a little bit.
Time is a peculiar resource where you never seem to have the right amount of it. There is always too little or too much on your hands. Unfortunately we all get the same ration that we have to portion out to ourselves regardless of how many things we have going on. It cannot be preserved therefore sacrifices have to be made in order to accommodate new needs. These sacrifices leave holes of time that now you can occupy with something else, but sometimes you realize that these holes are too big to fill, and suddenly you have too much time on your hands to reminisce about what was once there. Time to dwell on whether or not you made the right choice. Eventually you’ll find something to patch these cracks with because we always do, but right now the only way I can find to spend it is missing you.
